A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Seattle before moving to NY in 2011 to attend West Point, where I graduated in 2015 and played rugby. I found CrossFit in 2017 and started coaching in 2020 at CrossFit St. Robert at Fort Leonard Wood. Since then, I’ve been lucky to call several awesome CrossFit communities home, most recently coaching and serving as the General Manager at CrossFit Contrivance in Apex, NC.
I love coaching because I get to be a part of the best hour of someone’s day. I do my best to meet people where they’re at, in life or even that day. My goal as a coach goes beyond running a great class and giving helpful cues; I want to get to know each athlete as an individual, understand what motivates you, and help you work toward your own goals.
My favorite lift before major knee surgery was back squats, now it’s anything shoulder to overhead! I leave the cardio to Katey. My favorite CrossFit workout is DT.
In my free time I enjoy going to Costco (seriously, I’m an addict), walking our dog Bennie, and traveling to see family and friends.
